Welcome Message
Welcome to the official Connecticut Volkswagen Association website. Since 1985, CVA has brought together people from all around to enjoy one thing that we all have in common, the love for a little car, called the Volkswagen. While membership has its privileges with our members only family events and technical help with your VW from our staff; we welcome everyone to participate at our public events whether you are a member or not, you are always welcomed. And always be sure to check our Show Info & Locations page for CVA events through-out the year.

POSTPONED to Sunday July 19, 2026 -The CVAs 13th Annual FROG ROCK Gathering from Noon till 3pm, Address: 212 Pomfret Rd (Rt. 44) Eastford Ct. 06242. A social event for all VWs. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Seafood and Ice Cream available at the food stand. Next we head down the road to the Tri State Cruisers Saturday night cruise from 3 till dark at the junction of Rt.169 and Rt. 101, Pomfret Center. Sunday August 9, 2026 - CVAs 5th Annual Dubs & Suds at Hops on the Hill Brewery, 275 Dug Road South Glastonbury CT from 1 to 5pm. Please join us for a cold hand crafted beer or glass of wine on a family owned farm out in the country. Sunday August 23, 2026 - CVA & CT CORSAs Air-Cooled at the Orchard Address: Lymans Orchard 32 Reeds Gap Rd. Middlefield, Ct. 06455 from 9 to 3. (This is rain or shine!) This show is open to all air-cooled Volkswagens and Corvairs. $10 for show cars, general admission FREE! No vending. CVA History Snippets
| Have you ever read the History of the Connecticut VW Association and how we came to be? Our first member, Tom Shoemaker was given the honorary CVA membership number 1, in recognition of his tremendous inspiration and enthusiasm. Being an enthusiastic person means you have a strong passion, energy, and excitement for the things you do and the experiences you have, whether it's in your personal or professional life. It is that strong passion we have for our Volkswagens, Audi, Porsche, all cars, that brings us still together, after 38 year (since 1985) as one big united family. We continue too see our family grow, and sadly some have passed away, but it all began for the love for one little car. Read the rest of the story here. About Us |
