Welcome Message
Welcome to the official Connecticut Volkswagen Association website. Since 1985, CVA has brought together people from all around to enjoy one thing that we all have in common, the love for a little car, called the Volkswagen. While membership has its privileges with our members only family events and technical help with your VW from our staff; we welcome everyone to participate at our public events whether you are a member or not, you are always welcomed. And always be sure to check our Show Info & Locations page for CVA events through-out the year.

Monday Night July 6, 2026 6th Annual CVA VW Night at the DooWop Cruisers from 5pm to 8:30pm New Location to be Determined. Please check our Facebook page and Website for up dates . This event is open to all Volkswagens old and new. DJ all night, Food available for purchase in the commons. Great night to bring the whole family out. (cruise is contingent on weather). Saturday July 18, 2026 -The CVAs 13th Annual FROG ROCK Gathering from Noon till 3pm, Address: 212 Pomfret Rd (Rt. 44) Eastford Ct. 06242. A social event for all VWs. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Seafood and Ice Cream available at the food stand. Next we head down the road to the Tri State Cruisers Saturday night cruise from 3 till dark at the junction of Rt.169 and Rt. 101, Pomfret Center. Please print the PDF below and mail a check in or feel free to join/renew in person at one of our events. We thank you for your understanding. CVA History Snippets
| Have you ever read the History of the Connecticut VW Association and how we came to be? Our first member, Tom Shoemaker was given the honorary CVA membership number 1, in recognition of his tremendous inspiration and enthusiasm. Being an enthusiastic person means you have a strong passion, energy, and excitement for the things you do and the experiences you have, whether it's in your personal or professional life. It is that strong passion we have for our Volkswagens, Audi, Porsche, all cars, that brings us still together, after 38 year (since 1985) as one big united family. We continue too see our family grow, and sadly some have passed away, but it all began for the love for one little car. Read the rest of the story here. About Us |
