July 11, 2010 - The CVA’s 6th Annual New England Volks-Meet
Lebanon, Connecticut
Sunday July 11th, 2010 -The CVA’s 6th Annual New England Volks-Meet, Lebanon Lions Fairgrounds, Lebanon CT from 9am to 3pm Sunday. Trophies will be awarded by people’s choice in many different classes. Show will be open to all Volkswagens and all German cars, owners and fans. Will be held rain or shine. There will be dash plaques and goody bags to the first 200 cars and camping is available on Saturday night and we will have live bands. There will be entertainment for the kids both days. • Gates open at 8 a.m.
• $5 is the registration fee per vehicle. Spectators enter FREE!
• Registration is 8 a.m. and closes at 12 p.m.
• Show is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Judging is PARTICIPANT judging.
Club choice awards will be given out again this year.
• Food will be provided by Double D’s Dogs and Gruver’s Bakery.
• Hot Wheels races [Bring cars in fully sealed packaging and do not open them ahead of time.]
• Valve Cover races [Bring a finished valve cover race car to compete for a killer light-up trophy! Valve covers must be off of a Type-1 Beetle-style aircooled engine. No aftermarket valve covers (i.e EMPI finned aluminum). No bearings (i.e. skateboard wheels with bearings). No excessive weights or lead piles.]
• Raffles will be held to raise money for the Cancer society of York again this year. We raised just about $4000 last year, and we would not have been able to do this without your support.
• T-shirts by famed Arizona artist, Lemorris. |
